Customizing Email Notifications
Customizing Email Notifications is only available to those who have already enabled the Expansion Pack add-on. See our support article on enabling Expansion Pack for more information on how to do this. If you have already enabled Expansion Pack, please login to your account before following these steps.
- Click the Settings link at the top right hand corner of your CurdBee account page. You will be redirected to a page titled Account Information. Look at the right sidebar, and you will see a heading called Customize and under it, a link titled Emails & Notifications. Click it.
- You will see a page similar to the one pictured above. Scroll down, and you will see text boxes for the Invoice Notification, Invoice/Payment Reminder and Payment Acknowledgement emails. If you have enabled the Estimates Module, you will see an Estimate Notification text box as well.
- For each email template, use the Subject box to specify the subject of the email, and the Message box to customize the body of the message. The Placeholders seen to the left can be used in both the Subject and Message fields, and will be replaced by the appropriate variables from your account Settings page. For example, a use of {{company-name}} anywhere in a template will be replaced with Your Company Name, in the out-going emails.
- After you are happy with how your email templates look, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes. That’s it, you’re done! All new emails sent will be formatted according to your specifications.
