Sending Your First Invoice
Sending an invoice using CurdBee takes just a few simple steps.
Create Invoice
If you are a first time user, you may need to customize your branding and enable payment gateways before creating an invoice. Done? Great! Go to Invoices tab and click the Create Invoice link and you will be taken to the following screen.

- If you are a first time user, you can create a client by selecting the New client link. Alternatively, you may select an existing client from the list.

- Enter the date, invoice number, invoice summary and payment due date.
- In the same manner, you can add your services, products and tasks as line items. Line items can be saved for later use as well and the ones you use often will come up as you type. You are allowed to add multiple items to the invoice and also change the description, quantity and unit price of each item.

- The system will automatically calculate the sub-total based on your items. You will need to enable Discounts, Taxes and Shipping costs if you want to use them here.

- Finally you can add a note to the invoice, select how you’d like to accept payments and also decide if you want to allow partial payments or not (CurdBee PRO only). When you’re done, just click on the Create Invoice button at the bottom of the page. Your invoice is now stored as a draft.
Send Invoice
- Your invoice is now ready and you can preview it, download it as PDF or enter a payment for it, among other options. If you’d like to make changes to it, just click Edit Invoice to be taken back to the previous screen. Right now though, we’re going to focus on sending it.
- Click the Send Invoice link under Invoice Options. CurdBee will popup a dialog box in which you can confirm the Recipients and also specify whether you yourself want to receive a blind copy of the invoice.
- If you have enabled the Expansion Pack add-on, you will also see the Attach PDF option which can be used to get CurdBee to attach a PDF copy of the invoice to the outgoing invoice email.
- Click Send Invoice to send it away, or hit Cancel if you’d like to go back and make more changes.
Congratulations on creating and sending your first invoice! We hope you send many, many more.
